Mazda isn’t the type of automaker to put out lazily updated versions of its core models year after year. Instead, Mazda is continually innovating, creating new technologies, as well as redesigning its most popular models.

The upcoming Mazda CX-5 is a prime example of this philosophy of innovation. Mazda redesigned the midsize SUV for the 2022 model year, and it will feature a refreshed interior, standard all-wheel drive, and improved drive comfort.

Redefining Refinement

While previous versions of the Mazda CX-5 were certainly focused on style and comfort, the new version takes it to new heights. Drawing inspiration from the Mazda Kodo design philosophy, the 2022 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Signature takes sleek exterior styling to new levels. It boasts a redesigned front grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, and matching body-colored lower bumper and wheel arches.

Meanwhile, the new Turbo trim has its own distinct aesthetic that beckons to be driven. It is outfitted with a gloss black grille, signature wing and lower bumper, and paired with a set of 19-inch black alloy wheels.

Standard i-Activ AWD®

One of the major changes for this Mazda SUV is the addition of i-Activ AWD® as a standard feature across all trims. Additionally, the automaker’s new Mazda Intelligent Drive technology allows you to customize your drive across a variety of road surfaces and conditions.

Confidence Around Every Corner

The upcoming 2022 Mazda CX-5 will also include a suite of standard advanced safety features. This includes the new available Traffic Jam Assist, which enhances the Radar Cruise Control with low-speed steering assistance at speeds up to 40 miles per hour.

Here at Hall Mazda Virginia Beach, we’re expecting the 2022 Mazda CX-5 to hit our lot in the winter. Stay tuned for updates.
