The new 2016 Mazda CX-9 sports bolder styling, a new engine, and superb handling. Altogether, these elements add up to create a seven-passenger SUV that is sure to delight drivers. To further enhance convenience and comfort, Mazda added 53 pounds of sound-deadening material to the Mazda CX-9 to cut down on unwelcome sounds like engine vibration noise. Sound-insulating glass, narrowed gaps, and more seal insulation work together to reduce wind noise.
Once they finished cutting out unwanted noise, Mazda set about maximizing the sounds you do want to here. To create a truly premium sound experience, designers looked at hundreds of factors, taking everything from cabin size to seat positioning into account. The result of their efforts is the custom Mazda Sound signature, which makes use of an available 12-speaker Bose® Centerpoint® 2 Surround Sound System to deliver rich, stunning sound to every inch of the vehicle, no matter where you’re sitting.
